The Position:

  • Establish systems of treatments and medication administration that ensure safety, therapeutic outcomes, efficiency and the opportunity to evaluate the residents needs
  • Document into the medical record all relevant changes and or challenges
  • Lead the caregivers and inspire them to grow into their fullest potential
  • Work with MD and CNP to establish needs and to implement all care as ordered
  • Provide a therapeutic support to families providing time, patience, trust and effective communication
  • Support the Department heads and create a synchronicity with the Director of Nursing
  • Always be a strong and respectful advocate for the residents
  • Encourage and support the sales efforts of the community
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN in Illinois
  • Minimum of one year experience working with the aging population is preferred but not required
  • Upholding nursing best practice and standards of care for an aging population
  • Comprehension and adherence to state regulations
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holiday
